Doing golf, doing good

Hot on the heels of October 2014's inaugural golf day [report here], Keren Malki UK is gearing up for a repeat of the fun, the achievement and the success.

The Master golf course at The Shire London in Barnett, Hertfordshire, will again provide the venue. It's a challenging 18 hole course designed by Seve Ballesteros - the only such course in England.

The day starts with breakfast at 7:00, followed by Tee Off at 8:00. Drinks, lunch and networking will follow from about 1:30 pm onwards. And non-golfers are certainly welcome.

All the details can be gotten by a call to Nicole Gordon on 07867 420 335.

This part we can never say too often: the work of the Malki Foundation, which benefits financially from the proceeds of the Charity Golf Day, provides incomparable and practical support by empowering families in Israel who care for their child with serious special needs in the family home. Thousands of families from every part of Israel's demographic spectrum have been helped in concrete and meaningful ways by the Malki Foundation's programs. And as for a political agenda - the organization proudly does not have one.

Happy golfing - and sincere appreciation to the estimable Robert Green of Green & Peter (UK) Limited, Chartered Accountants, whose guiding hand and energy are indispensable to the success of this now-annual fund-raising event.
