A traveling parliamentary visitor sees from close-up how our home equipment program works

Among visitors this month to the Malki Foundation's Equipment Joint Venture (with the Yad Sarah Organization) is Australian parliamentarian Dr Andrew Southcott, the House of Representatives Member for Boothby, South Australia, visiting Israel as a Yachad Program fellow.

The photo shows Dr Southcott with Shani Rosenfeld, a mobility- and home-care expert, an Occupational Therapist and an invaluable member of the Keren Malki Yad Sarah JV team, explaining some of the items on permanent display in the first-floor Guidance and Exhibition Center at Yad Sarah's Jerusalem headquarters. Equipment from the JV warehouse is shipped out to families of special-needs children throughout Israel daily. The Malki Foundation initiated the unique program in 2002 and funds it.

To be clear, non-parliamentarian visitors are always welcome too (contact us ahead of time, please). And there's some background about the program here for those who can't make it.
